I’m Sandy, creator of graceful nest decor, and I’m glad you’re here!

A little bit about me- I am wife to one amazing fella, mom to two incredible young adult kids, and pet parent to two crazy rescue dogs.

My husband and I recently moved to a new community in Northern Missouri, which I am finding is chock-full of history!

We moved to an area where some of the communities date back to before the Civil War. As a matter of fact, this part of Missouri is where the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1805 went through.

Although our new home is not nearly that old, it is certainly dated and ready for redecorating. Right now, as you will see, nearly every wall is painted a lovely shade of what I call 2020 Gray. And while there is a place and time for gray, I am much more of a color-loving gal.

My goal is to make our new home sparkle with joy, warmth, and whimsy! Just like HYGGE (Hue Gah). Do you practice Hygge? You may, and not even know it! Never heard of it? Stick around and learn with me as I redecorate our new home in North Missouri. We can learn together.
